Sander belts, also known as diamond grid conveyor belts, are usually customized with a pattern on the surface (e.g. diamond grid, monogram) to increase friction and prevent wood from sliding.
Common types include monogram, diamond grid, golf type, etc. The thickness is usually 5mm and 9mm, and the material is categorized into PVC (light duty) and rubber (heavy duty).

Log preparation: the diamond-shaped surface provides a firm grip on rounded trunks, prevents rolling and facilitates splitting.
Board transfer and sanding: uniformly support wet wood chips or moulded boards to avoid warping and deformation; used with sanding machines for polishing the wood surface.
Drying Kiln Transfer: Diamond-shaped pore structure promotes air circulation, accelerates wood dehydration and shortens drying cycle.
