China’s manufacturing value-added accounted for as much as 30.2% of the world’s share, becoming an important force driving the growth of the global industrial economy.

Since the 18th National Congress, China’s industry has accelerated its transformation and upgrading to high-end, intelligent and green development. The competitiveness of new energy vehicles, solar batteries, lithium-ion power batteries for automobiles and other “new three” products has been significantly improved, and their output has increased substantially.

In 2023, the output of the “Three New Types” products increased by 30.3%, 54.0% and 22.8% year-on-year, respectively.2024 In the first half of the year, China’s automobile exports climbed to 3.485 million, of which more than one million were new-energy vehicles. In addition, the output of cell phones, microcomputers, color televisions and industrial robots all ranked first in the world.
