Thickness
The thickness of PU conveyor belts is generally customized according to the actual needs, and the common thickness range is roughly between 0.8 mm and 5 mm. It can be specifically divided into the following three categories:
Thin type (0.8mm~2mm): it is suitable for light load and high speed conveying occasions, such as food processing, handling of electronic components, packaging production line, etc.. These conveyor belts are usually lighter and suitable for high-precision conveying tasks.
Medium type (2mm~4mm): suitable for more general conveying tasks with balanced load carrying capacity and wear resistance, widely used in general industrial production, such as conveying of paper, packaging materials, etc.
Thick type (4mm~5mm): It is suitable for the working environment with high abrasion resistance requirement, such as cutting machine, cutting machine and so on. The thicker PU conveyor belt has stronger carrying capacity and cutting resistance.
Width
The width of PU conveyor belt also has various specifications, the common maximum width of up to 4000mm, but the specific width should be determined according to the design of the conveyor and the demand of conveying materials. For example, the larger total width of white PU conveyor belt is generally 1000mm.
Color and material
Color: PU conveyor belts are available in various colors, such as white, dark green, etc., which can be customized according to customers’ requirements.
Material: The main material is PU (polyurethane), the top layer of the belt is usually PUPU environmentally friendly material, and the bottom layer of the belt is wear-resistant woven layer. This material is green and environmentally friendly, and wear-resistant, oil-resistant, easy to clean, long service life.
Temperature range
The load-bearing temperature range of PU conveyor belt varies according to material and design. Generally speaking, its temperature range is between -20℃80℃, but the specific temperature range should be determined according to the actual application scene. For example, the load bearing temperature range of white PU conveyor belt is -10℃+80℃.
